Virtual therapy for young adults in
gilroy, the bay area & all of california
MY SPECIALITIES
Whether you're a college student navigating a big transition, a new professional feeling the pressure to have it all figured out, or someone quietly struggling with anxiety or depression while keeping it all together on the outside this is a space for you. I offer virtual individual therapy to young adults across California, with a focus on anxiety, depression, and the messy, in-between moments of early adulthood.
ANXIETY THERAPY
Anxiety can show up in a lot of ways constant worry, overthinking, people-pleasing, perfectionism, or a racing mind that won't quiet down. I work with generalized anxiety, social anxiety, specific phobias, chronic stress, and the kind of hyper self-criticism that makes you feel like you're never quite enough. Using Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), we work on changing your relationship with anxious thoughts rather than fighting them.
DEPRESSION THERAPY
Depression doesn't always look like staying in bed. It can look like going through the motions, losing interest in things you used to love, or feeling a low-grade emptiness that's hard to explain. I work with major depression, high-functioning (persistent) depression, and grief. Together we'll work on reconnecting with what matters to you and building a path forward.
LIFE TRANSITIONS SUPPORT
Starting a career, changing directions, finishing school, moving somewhere new, navigating relationships; these moments are exciting and terrifying in equal measure. If you're feeling stuck, lost, or behind, therapy can help you get grounded and move forward with more clarity and confidence.
Common transitions I support: starting or changing a career, beginning or finishing college, relationship changes, divorce, and adjusting to new life phases.
POPULATIONS I OFTEN WORK WITH
LAW STUDENTS & GRADUATE STUDENTS
The pressure of professional school is real. I work with students managing anxiety, burnout, imposter syndrome, and the stress of high-stakes environments.
LGBTQ+ COMMUNITY
I offer affirming therapy for those exploring or navigating sexual identity, gender identity, and all stages of transition. This is a judgment-free, affirming space.
NEURODIVERGENT COMMUNITY (ADHD, AUTISM, AuDHD)
I work with neurodivergent young adults navigating identity, relationships, emotional regulation, and a world that wasn't always built with them in mind.
BABY THERAPISTS & HELPING PROFESSIONALS
I know this world well, and I offer a supportive space for those in the helping professions navigating vicarious trauma, burnout, and their own mental health.
NEW COLLEGE STUDENTS & RECENT GRADUATES
The transition into and out of college is one of the biggest of early adulthood. I help students and new grads find their footing.LDS & EX-LDS COMMUNITY
Whether you're an active member of the LDS church looking for a therapist who understands your faith, values, and culture without judgment — or you're navigating a faith transition and processing what that means for your identity, relationships, and sense of self — this is a space where you don't have to explain yourself. I offer compassionate, culturally informed therapy that meets you wherever you are in your relationship with the church.
“you are not a problem to be solved, you are a person to be understood.”
MEET YOUR THERAPIST
Hi! I’m Alexis (she/her), a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who helps young adults navigate anxiety, depression, life transitions, and all the messy, beautiful in-between moments. I’ve been practicing since 2022 and recently earned my independent license in 2025; but my journey to becoming a therapist started with my own experience struggling with anxiety and depression in my teen years and throughout my 20s. I know how tough that stage of life can be, and I’m here to help you find steady ground while building a life that feels meaningful and true to you.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and rooted in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), along with mindfulness, CBT, and DBT tools to support real-life growth and emotional balance. Think of our work as a mix of deep conversations, gentle challenges, and tools you can actually use outside of session.
